The Family Table Youth Experience
“Train up a child in the way they should go…” – Proverbs 22:6

As a personal chef and a mom, I've seen firsthand how much confidence, creativity, and joy the kitchen can bring to children.

I’ve been teaching my sons how to cook — not just recipes, but life skills, patience, and pride in their work. Watching their faces light up in the kitchen inspired me to create something bigger: a local traveling kids cooking class, designed to bring that same joy and learning to children in our community.

Our Mission

The Family Table Youth Experience was created with one simple purpose — to bring families back to the table.

In a time when shared meals and family connection are fading, this program aims to rebuild that bond by starting with the youth.

Through free, hands-on cooking classes, Chef Nedia teaches children and teens how to prepare meals with love, faith, and purpose. Each class blends practical culinary skills with valuable lessons in confidence, teamwork, and gratitude.

At The Family Table, it’s about more than food — it’s about creating a space where young people learn that the table is a place for faith, family, and conversation.
